    Shoup completes internship with Ohio State ATI

    Katherine Shoup, of Orrville completed an internship this summer with Ohio State ATI in Wooster, Ohio.

    During the internship, Shoup was responsible for working with the Ohio State ATI social media accounts to engage with students on the summer reading program, creating a scavenger hunt to help students get to know campus and worked extensively with faculty and staff during new student orientation.

  2. Gwirtz holds internship with Lynd Fruit Farm

    Brianna Gwirtz, of Shelby, is completing an internship this summer with Lynd Fruit Farm.

    During the internship, Gwirtz is responsible for filming, editing, and sharing informational and promotional videos on fruit production at Lynd Fruit Farm, as well as creating signage for the market and content for social media. She also maintains the website and assists in the preparation for school tours that will begin this fall, in addition to a variety of other projects.

  3. Dietz to complete internship with American Guernsey Association

    Amber Dietz, of Southington, will complete an internship this summer with American Guernsey Association in Columbus, Ohio.

    During the internship, Dietz will create sales catalogs, write and take photos for Purebred Publishing, and create a National Brown Swiss Directory. She assisted in planning for the National Junior Show and ran the Purebred Publishing blog during the National Convention sale.

  4. Snider to complete internship with Hardin County Extension

    Demi Snider, of Kenton, will complete an internship this summer with Hardin County Extension Office, Family and Consumer Sciences.

    During the internship, Snider will use her communication skills to share healthy eating and exercise habits, healthy relationships and healthy finances through curriculum development for Girl’s Group, a group that focuses on forming positive relationships among 4th-6th grade girls and their peers. Positive self-image, leadership skills, public speaking, and etiquette are also areas the group will focus on.

    Sarah Johnson, of Williamsport, completed an internship with the Advancement Office for the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at the Ohio State University during the 2015-2016 academic year.

  6. Beck to complete internship with Ohio Farm Bureau Federation

    Hayley Beck, of Norwalk, will complete an internship this summer with the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) in Columbus, Ohio.

    During her internship, Beck will assist OFBF staff with the Land and Living exhibit for the Ohio State Fair by coordinating exhibit design and staff, and coordinate media relations. She will also assist OFBF in development and implementation of a youth agricultural education program to complement the Land and Living exhibit.

  7. Wallace to complete internship with Wilt PR

    Nicole Wallace, of Gibsonburg, Ohio, will complete a summer internship with Wilt PR in Springfield, Ohio.

    During her internship, Wallace will get a diverse, hands-on experience with a wide variety of agriculture-related client accounts. She will be writing, working with the media, researching trends and issues, as well as managing social media, projects, and events planning.

    She will also gain leadership skills as she leads a project that will place farmers in local civic clubs around the state to drive discussions about many facets of agricultural production.

  8. Stacy to complete internship with Ohio Bioproducts Innovation Center

    Jordan Stacy, of Enon, is currently completing a summer internship with Ohio Bioproducts Innovation Center (OBIC) in Columbus, Ohio. OBIC is located at The Ohio State University and connects different segments of the bioproducts community to nurture business ecosystems and facilitate commercialization of new sustainable bioproduct technologies.
