In this role, he advises students on education abroad opportunities, supports faculty-led programs, and works closely with the CFAES Student Council as their advisor. A passionate advocate for experiential learning, Ryan has helped lead student programs to Costa Rica, Scotland, and New Zealand—providing hands-on global experiences that shape students’ academic and personal growth. He is a proud alumnus of the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership (ACEL), earning his B.S. in Agricultural Communication in 2018, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Leadership. Ryan also hosts Buckeyes Abroadcasts, a podcast produced in partnership with Ohio State’s Office of International Affairs (OIA), highlighting student stories and global learning experiences. He brings a strong background in student engagement, communication, and program development to his work with CFAES.
