Nicole Volk

Nicole Volk is a Ph.D. student and Graduate Teaching Associate within the ACEL Department specializing in agricultural communication. Nicole earned her master’s degree in 2024 from The Ohio State University. She also earned bachelor’s degrees in agricultural communication and public affairs from Ohio State in 2016. 

Previously, Nicole served as the Director of Communications & Marketing for the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, handling all aspects of association communications including social media management, event promotion, press release and news writing, graphic design, photography and videography. 

In her free time, Nicole runs Volk Sweets, a home-baking business specializing in decorated sugar cookies and macarons. She is also an avid nature photographer and fitness enthusiast.
