Melanie Fuhrmann

Melanie Fuhrmann is a first year master's student with a community leadership specialization. She graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2021 with a bachelor's in community leadership: community and extension education, and a triple minor in youth development, human development and family sciences, and horticulture. Originally from Wheelersburg, Ohio, Melanie gained her interest in agriculture and working with youth through working on her family's farm, as well as through 4-H. In the future, she would like to be a county extension educator focusing in 4-H youth development. Melanie aims to educate the community about agriculture, and to build the leadership skills and potential of the future generations of youth.
