Manny Heilman

Manny Heilman grew up in Morrow County, Ohio. Through 4-H and FFA, he became heavily involved in his hometown, and by age 18 he was serving on various community boards. During this time, he started his journey at OSU Mansfield in the fall of 2018, studying Political Science. In 2019 he resigned from many of his community positions to focus on transitioning to OSU Main Campus. During COVID-19, Heilman decided to add a second major and began studying English. He graduated in the Spring of 2022 with his BA in English and Poli Sci. While in Undergrad, Heilman got the surreal experience of working at the Ohio State House and for the Office of President Johnson at OSU. Not long after graduation, Heilman started his professional career in the Office of VP & Dean of CFAES. After a few months, he was promoted to his current role where he assists the Dean's Executive Assistant and supports the Office of Government Affairs for the College. Heilman remains actively connected to his roots by serving as Vice President on the Morrow County Farm Bureau Board, and is constantly looking for ways to get more involved in his communities.
