Kaylynn Wilhelm is a graduate student and Graduate Assistant in the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership (ACEL) at The Ohio State University, specializing in agricultural education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in agriscience education from Ohio State in 2026.
Before beginning graduate school, Kaylynn completed her student teaching experience at Northwestern High School, where she taught agricultural education courses, advised FFA members, and developed engaging, standards-based curriculum. She also served as the Outreach Coordinator and Science Fair Manager for Grow Next Gen through the Ohio Soybean Council, creating educational programming, coordinating statewide outreach initiatives, and supporting STEM and agricultural literacy opportunities for students and educators across Ohio.
Kaylynn has also served as a facilitator for the National FFA Organization's Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) and the Members Leadership Series (MLS), where she worked with student leaders from across the country to develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Her research interests include agricultural education, teacher professional development, curriculum design, motivation, and belonging in education.
Outside of her professional work, Kaylynn enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, Ohio State football games, and livestock!
