Emily Wickham

Emily joined the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership (ACEL) in October 2011. In her position, she helps the department grow through undergraduate recruitment, coordinates activities for our current students and promotes the department through social media and communications. 

In 2022, Emily served as the chair for the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) Staff Advisory Council. She was the ACEL staff representative to the council from 2020-2023. She has also served as an advisor for FarmHouse Fraternity (2013-2025), CFAES Student Council (2012-2016), Buckeyes Against Hunger (2013-2016) and Community for Appalachian Student Leaders (CASL) (2021-2023).

Emily is a 2007 graduate of our department and majored in agricultural communication. In between her time as a student at Ohio State and returning as a professional, she worked for the Governor's Office of Appalachia, Franklin County Farm Bureau and the Franklin County Board of Commissioners.
