Wallace to complete internship with Wilt PR

June 12, 2014

Nicole Wallace, of Gibsonburg, Ohio, will complete a summer internship with Wilt PR in Springfield, Ohio.

During her internship, Wallace will get a diverse, hands-on experience with a wide variety of agriculture-related client accounts. She will be writing, working with the media, researching trends and issues, as well as managing social media, projects, and events planning.

She will also gain leadership skills as she leads a project that will place farmers in local civic clubs around the state to drive discussions about many facets of agricultural production.

“We're excited to have Nicole working at Wilt this summer,” said Dan Toland, account manager at Wilt PR. “She's an active, bright, busy student who showcases a wonderful display of multi-tasking, attention to detail, time management and a drive to succeed.”

Wallace will return to Ohio State in the fall to begin her junior year studying agricultural communication. She is the daughter of Bill and Cherri Wallace and a graduate of Gibsonburg High School.

The agricultural communication major at Ohio State prepares students to plan, develop, and implement a communication campaign, using visual media, writing and editing. Students study crisis communication, graphic design, marketing, and journalism so they can spread the word about agriculture.
