In Dr. Cara Lawson's AGRCOMM 2330 class (Public Perceptions of Agricultural and Environmental Issues), students presented case studies about issues in agriculture, science, and natural resources. This course was taught during Spring Semester 2024, and students worked on their research projects throughout the semester.
In the course, students explore vital issues in food, agricultural, and environmental sciences and are exposed to methods to critically evaluate, effectively communicate, and influence decisions made about these issues. They engage with issue stakeholders and investigate the impacts that their varying perceptions have on the food system, the environment, and society.
