Katherine Shoup, of Orrville completed an internship this summer with Ohio State ATI in Wooster, Ohio.
During the internship, Shoup was responsible for working with the Ohio State ATI social media accounts to engage with students on the summer reading program, creating a scavenger hunt to help students get to know campus and worked extensively with faculty and staff during new student orientation.
Shoup will return to Ohio State in August to complete her degree in agricultural communication. She is the daughter of Dean and Susan Shoup and a graduate of Orrville High School.
The agricultural communication major at Ohio State prepares students to plan, develop, and implement a communication campaign, using visual media, writing and editing. Students study crisis communication, graphic design, marketing, and journalism so they can spread the word about agriculture.
