Devin Roth, of Findlay, will complete an internship this summer with AmericanHort in Columbus, Ohio.
During the internship, Roth will use her communication skills to create social media content, design web advertisements, handouts, event graphics and sponsorship graphics, as well as assist with projects in email tracking and analysis.
“Devin has been a great addition to our team,” said Alicia Rittenhouse, vice-president of member and strategic engagement for AmericanHort. “She has great ideas, enthusiasm, and a fresh perspective. We love that she has been to numerous state and national events and has brought back innovative examples of marketing for use to consider. Her experience in the agriculture industry has been a huge bonus as she can easily relate to our members.”
Roth will return to Ohio State in August to continue her degree in agricultural communication. She is the daughter of Robin Roth and Chris Roth and a graduate of Cory-Rawson High School.
The agricultural communication major at Ohio State prepares students to plan, develop, and implement a communication campaign, using visual media, writing and editing. Students study crisis communication, graphic design, marketing, and journalism so they can spread the word about agriculture.
