Sarah Longo successfully defended her master’s thesis "Job Embeddedness and Intent to Stay Among Ohio State University County-Based Support Staff Professionals," on February 3, 2025.
Dr. Kirk Bloir, professor in OSU Extension, served as Longo's advisor. Dr. Scott Scheer, professor of community leadership, was a committee member.
Longo is a program manager with Ohio 4-H. In her role, she coordinates and provides support in teaching and facilitating details of statewide camping program, provides primary leadership for onboarding new 4-H professionals and serves as main point for promotional and marketing materials to be used for statewide 4-H audiences.
She is now a two-time Ohio State graduate. Longo earned a bachelor of science degree in community leadership from Ohio State's Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership in 2019.
