Congratulations to Mackenzie Hoog and Sheriden Schuerman, along with their faculty mentor Dr. Cara Lawson, on their first place finish at the Denman Undergraduate Research Forum. Their project, "An Exploration of Climate Change Experience and Climate Self-Efficacy," received the top prize in the "Earth & Beyond" category.
The Denman Forum provides an opportunity for graduating student researchers to share their research endeavors with the broader community. This is Ohio State's only competitive poster forum in which winners are recognized in each category as determined by faculty, staff, and Denman alumni reviewers.
Hoog and Schuerman were reviewed on their ability to communicate their research process and results effectively in both their written poster content and accompanying oral presentation.
Hoog is a senior studying agricultural communication. Schuerman is a sustainable plant systems major, but has an agricultural communication minor. Lawson is an assistant professor of agricultural communication.
