Emma Higgins was announced as the recipient of the John Deere Scholarship at the annual MANRRS conference held in Chicago, IL in late Marach.
John Deere awarded two $3,000 undergraduate, and one $2,500 graduate student scholarships per region to those who have excelled in academics, extracurricular activities, MANRRS, and community involvements.
Higgins is a sophomore studying agricultural communication. She is from Dover, DE.
