On October 7-8, 2024 ACEL's agriscinece education seniors traveled to FFA Camp Muskingum to work with students from the Maplewood Career Center. The students taught lessons on workforce readiness and collaborated with students on team-building activities. This is a long-standing partnership that is super valuable to our students.
As part of a class requirement, seniors went on this trip and had the oppurtunity to teach students and particpate in team building activities with them. This helped them to fullfill their class requirment of spending 10 hours with diverse learners. Students were able to learn how important it is to love and care for all students they interact with.
"The trip really encouraged me of what my 'why' is for teaching and reinforced that throughout the trip," said fourth-year agriscience education student Lily Wagner.
