Scholarships and Financial Aid

Your university education is an investment that will pay dividends for a lifetime.

There is no fooling anyone that tuition, fees, and living expenses to complete a degree at a premier university such as The Ohio State University will require financial support. For many undergraduates, traditional means of support includes your personal     savings, family, and financial aid in the form of grants and loans. Scholarship programs are also available. Yet, competition for scholarship funds is intense and will require the best and brightest to complete an application and selection process well in advance of the start of the semester.

Our department participates in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences scholarship application process.  By completing the online application through CFAES, you are automatically applying for any department scholarships for which you are eligible.

Our department awards nearly $60,000 in scholarships!  For more information on the scholarships offered through ACEL for our majors, please click here:

The scholarship application is available between November 1 and February 15 of each year. Additional information and the application is available on the CFAES Website.
