Our department offers four minors: agricultural communication, leadership studies, youth development and community outreach education. These minors are for students who have declared a major outside of our department.
- A minor in agricultural communication provides an understanding of the communication process, valuable in any career field. Classes include public speaking, graphic design, and web design.
- The new interdisciplinary minor in leadership studies provides you with classes in personal, team, and community leadership. And, you'll earn credit for practicing what you've learned about leadership.
- The interdisciplinary youth development minor is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills about youth development principles, processes, and practices.
- A minor in community outreach education is for students who wish to become effective developers and implementers of non-formal educational programs in community settings.
