Our department offers four minors: agricultural communication, leadership studies, youth development and community outreach education. These minors are for students who have declared a major outside of our department.
A minor in agricultural communication provides an understanding of the communication process, valuable in any career field. Classes include public speaking, graphic design, and web design.
The new interdisciplinary minor in leadership studies provides you with classes in personal, team, and community leadership. And, you'll earn credit for practicing what you've learned about leadership.
The interdisciplinary youth development minor is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills about youth development principles, processes, and practices.
A minor in community outreach education is for students who wish to become effective developers and implementers of non-formal educational programs in community settings.
