Dr. Corey Cockerill

Dr. Corey Cockerill graduated in 2002 with a bachelor of science in agricultural communication. She also holds degrees from Ohio State, including a master's degree in rural sociology and a doctorate degree in environmental sociology, policy and communications. 

Cockerill is an associate professor of communication arts and agricultural communication at Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. Prior to her position with Wilmington College, she was the electronic communications manager for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife.

Dr. Stacy Gartin

 

Dr. Stacy Gartin is a two-time graduate of our department, completing his master's degree in agricultural education in 1982 and his doctor of philosophy degree in 1983, also in agricultural education. He also holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural education from Colorado State University.

Gartin has been a faculty member at West Virginia University's Agricultural and Extension Education Unit since 1984, serving as chairman of the unit from 1992-1996 and 2002-2009. Prior to joining the faculty at WVU, he was a visiting assistnat professor at Prudue University and a vocational agriculture instructor at McClave High School in Colorado.

Bruce Zimmer

Bruce Zimmer completed a master's degree in agricultural education, with an emphasis in extension education, in 1988. He also holds a bachelor of science degree in dairy science from Ohio State.

Zimmer is an extension educator of 4-H and youth development with Ohio State Extension for more than 30 years. From 1989-2016 he worked as an educator in Monroe County. Since 2016, he has been the extension educator in Washington County.
