AGRICULTURAL COMMUNICATION, EDUCATION, AND LEADERSHIP ALUMNI AWARD PROGRAM
The Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership Alumni Board is currently seeking nominations for ACEL Alumni Awards. This program is designed to highlight alumni from our department that are doing good things in their careers, communities and in the Ohio State community.
With three categories, nominate an alumni who is an exceptional mentor to students, an outstanding young alumni or a distinguished alumni.

Mentor of Students Award
This award is for alumni of the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership who has functioned as a mentor in facilitating the growth and future of Ohio State students. This individually should share their valuable time to be acccessible to students, encourages and includes students in professional opportunities, networking activities and other personal development activities, as well as promotes and makes others aware of the contributions and value of Ohio State students. Young Alumni Award
This award is for alumni of the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership who have professional achievements and/or personal service achievements which are worthy of recognition. Nominees should be no more than 34 years of age as of January 1 of the award year (January 1, 2024). Young Alumni Award application
Distinguished Alumni Award
This award is for alumni of the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership who have professional achievements and/or personal service achievements which are worthy of recognition. Distinguished Alumni Award application
Please submit your nomination by completing the award application and emailing it to Kameron Rinehart at firstname.lastname@example.org.

- You'll be asked to answer the following question about your nominee:
- How do they represent the guiding principles of the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education and Leadership?
- Please include up to two pages of supporting documents. These can be in resume or letter-of-recommendation form, and they are strongly encouraged in order to help your nominee during the selection process.
Nominations must be received by Kameron Rinehart no later than December 8, 2023.
The selection committee is comprised of the ACEL Alumni Board. No more than three (3) nominees will be selected as recipients from each program area. Nominators and nominees will be notified in Spring 2024.
The winners will be recognized and celebrated in Spring 2024. As plans become final, we will share the details.
