Vonderhaar completes internship with Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum

Sep. 6, 2016

Ryan Vonderhaar, of Camden, completed an internship this summer with Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum in Carrollton, Ohio.

During the internship, Vonderhaar was responsible for planning and facilitating events that occur for high school students during FFA camps. These events include aquatic activities, high ropes, and tours of an ongoing timber harvest.

Vonderhaar returned to Ohio State in August to continue his degree in agricultural communication. He is the son of Alan and Rachel Vonderhaar and a graduate of Talawanda High School.

The agricultural communication major at Ohio State prepares students to plan, develop, and implement a communication campaign, using visual media, writing and editing. Students study crisis communication, graphic design, marketing, and journalism so they can spread the word about agriculture.
